The Deeside Gliding Club
dgc  The Deeside Gliding Club operates from an airstrip just two miles west of the village.  A trial flight may not have you soaring to the UK altitude record of almost 39,000 (held by a glider-pilot flying from Aboyne), but you should enjoy 10-30 minutes in the air.  Full details from the Deeside Gliding Club website
